SECURITY SCANNING SERVICES ARE PROVIDED FOR OWNERS AND OPERATORS OF INTERNET FACING SYSTEMS AND WEBSITES. SECURITY SCANNING IS ONLY TO BE PERFORMED AGAINST SYSTEMS AND WEBSITES THAT YOU OWN OR HAVE AN EXPLICIT LICENCE TO MONITOR FROM THE SYSTEMS OWNER.
THIS MUST BE TRUE OF THE COMPANY DOMAIN(S) YOU ARE SIGNING UP AND REQUESTING WE MONITOR.
IF YOU HAVE A WEBSITE HOSTED ON A SHARED HOSTING ENVIRONMENT, YOU MUST OBTAIN SPECIFIC WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM THE WEBHOSTING PROVIDER BEFORE TESTING YOUR WEBSITE.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND CONSENT TO INTRUSION
Client understands and acknowledges that certain Scanning Services (i) will be inherently invasive and intrusive, and include attempts by Omniscience Cyber Defence Limited or its Agents, as applicable, to gain unauthorized access to Client’s Systems in an effort to make Client aware of those areas in which Client’s System is vulnerable to intrusion, damage, and/or unauthorized use, (ii) may result in inadvertent damage to Client’s System as a result of dissimilarities among network systems, (iii) may cause excessive amounts of log messages resulting in excessive disk space consumption, (iv) may cause degradation of Client’s System as a result of attempts to penetrate it including, but not limited to possible “slowdowns”, “hanging” or “crashing” of Client’s System, possible failure of Client’s System as a result of attempts to invade it, or any other damage resulting from intrusive and/or invasive techniques used to gain access to Client’s System. Client hereby gives its informed consent to intrusion into Client’s Systems by Omniscience Cyber Defence Limited and its Agents for the sole purpose of performing the Evaluation Services provided herein.
AMENDMENT OF TERMS
We reserve the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of these terms at any time. Please check these terms regularly prior to using our website to ensure you are aware of any changes. We will endeavour to highlight any significant or substantive changes to you where possible. If you choose to use our website then we will regard that use as conclusive evidence of your agreement and acceptance that these terms govern your and Omniscience Cyber Defence Limited’s rights and obligations to each other.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
It is an essential pre-condition to you using our website that you agree and accept that Omniscience Cyber Defence Limited is not legally responsible whatsoever for any loss or damage you might suffer related to your use of the website, whether from errors or from omissions in our documents or information, or any services we may offer or from any other use of the website. Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable.

For the purposes of the New Zealand Contractual Remedies Act 1979, Omniscience Cyber Defence Limited’s liability for any breach of a term of this agreement is limited to: the supplying of the service(s) to you again; or the payment of the cost of having the service(s) supplied to you.
You must be over 18 years of age to use this website and to purchase any services.
REFUNDS
Omniscience Cyber Defence Limited processes refunds in accordance with the New Zealand Contractual Remedies Act 1979.
Should you wish a refund for your order, please notify us within 7 days of purchase with a valid reason for return. If we are unable to resolve your complaint or further assist you, we will process a refund upon timely receipt of the goods purchased. Refunds will be processed promptly and payment made by the same method that you made payment. Refund payments may take up to 7 business days to be received. Refunds are made at the discretion of Omniscience Cyber Defence Limited.

At Omniscience Cyber Defence Limited, we are committed to protecting your privacy. We use any information we collect about you to maximise the services that we provide to you. Omniscience Cyber Defence Limited respects the privacy and confidentiality of the information provided by you.
Clients can sign into AEGIS (aegis-ew.com) with email/password or a Google account. When using a Google account, we do not access any user data except the email address. The email address is used to identify a user’s account. It is not shared with third parties. We retain user email addresses indefinitely, or until we receive a request for deletion.
You may change your details at any time by advising us in writing via email. All information we receive from our customers, is protected by our secure servers. Omniscience Cyber Defence Limited’s secure server software encrypts all customer information before it is sent to us. Furthermore, all the customer data Omniscience Cyber Defence Limited collects is secured against unauthorized use or access. Credit card information is not stored by us on our servers.
THIRD PARTIES
Omniscience Cyber Defence Limited does not and will not sell or deal in personal or customer information. We may however use in a general sense without any reference to your name, your information to create marketing statistics, identify user demands and to assist it in meeting customer needs generally. In addition, we may use the information that you provide to improve its website and its services but not for any other use.

JURISDICTION
This agreement and this website are subject to the laws of New Zealand. If there is a dispute between you and Omniscience Cyber Defence Limited that results in litigation, then you must submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
